文水县所辖乡镇。 2000年12月至2001年4月，经山西省人民政府2001年1月12日晋政函（2001）16号函《关于文水县调整乡镇行政区划的批复》批准，将上曲乡并入刘胡兰镇，设立新的刘胡兰镇。乡镇撤并前，上曲乡有人口13027人，管辖：上曲村、上段村、水寨村、伯鱼村、门世村、炮守堡村、新堡村、段城村。
