宗城县，东汉永元五年置广宗县，治所即今天河北邢台市威县东。

隋仁寿元年为避时为太子的隋炀帝名讳，改名为宗城县。唐天佑三年复名为广宗县。五代十国唐又改为宗城县。北宋崇宁四年将治所移到现在威县东邵固。元朝初年废。
