位于朝阳区西部。东起东四环路，西至东三环北路。1988年始辟，1992年筑成。1989年定今名。因东南小区称霞光里而派生得名。霄云路是首都机场辅路的西南段落，也是连通东四环与东三环的干线。两侧颇多饭店、大厦。东有大通大厦、花园饭店，西有京信大厦。西北是北京地质仪器厂。
