妇科学癥为腹中结块的病。坚硬不移动，痛有定处为“癥”；聚散无常，痛无定处为“瘕”。其涵盖了各种妇科良性肿瘤，病种较多，是妇科常见病、疑难病症。此病多因脏腑失调，气血阻滞，血内结引起，气聚为瘕，血瘀为癥。证候以气滞、血瘀、痰湿、湿热等四型多见。
