塘镇位于江苏省江阴市境内，面积34平方千米。原名黄溪，后改名黄塘，明称黄塘市。清康熙后更今名。

镇情简介

1949年置璜塘镇。1951年改置璜塘乡，后改公社。1983年复为乡。1988年改置镇。2003年11月由璜塘镇、马镇镇、峭岐镇三镇合并，组建霞客镇。2007年，霞客镇更名为徐霞客故居。
