源出 河北 灵寿县 (今 正定县 )东北。《汉书·地理志上》：“灵寿 ……《尚书·禹贡》卫水 出东北，东入 池。”按，虖池 即 沱。清 胡渭 《禹贡锥指》谓 卫水 在 灵寿 以下即称 滹沱。
